GENERAL QUESTIONS

JobsinSoutheast.NG is an online job marketplace that connects employers with qualified job seekers across Southeast Nigeria. We help companies post job opportunities and enable candidates to discover, apply, and grow their careers.

You can browse jobs without an account. However, to apply for jobs, save listings, or contact employers, you must create an account.

  • For job seekers: Yes, it is completely free.
  • For employers: Posting jobs may require a paid plan, depending on the package selected.

Click on Register at the top of the website and choose whether you want to register as a Candidate or Employer.

No. Each account can only have one role. If you need both, you must register with different email addresses.

Click Forgot Password on the login page and follow the instructions sent to your email.

FOR CANDIDATES (JOB SEEKERS)

  1. Log in to your candidate account
  2. Search for a job
  3. Open the job listing
  4. Click Apply Now
  5. Upload or select your resume
  6. Submit your application

Yes. Applying for jobs on JobsinSoutheast.NG is completely free for candidates.

  1. Log in
  2. Go to your Dashboard
  3. Click My Resume / Profile
  4. Upload your CV (PDF or Word)

Most employers require a resume. We strongly recommend uploading one to increase your chances.

Go to your Dashboard → My Applications to see all jobs you’ve applied for and their status.

Yes. You can update your profile anytime from your dashboard.

Job Alerts notify you by email when new jobs that match your preferences are posted.

You can set alerts by:

  • Keyword
  • Location
  • Job category

Yes. Employers can message you through the platform if your profile is public.

Click the Save Job or bookmark icon on any job listing to view later.

Employers make independent hiring decisions. Rejection may be due to:

  • High competition
  • Missing requirements
  • Incomplete profile

FOR EMPLOYERS

  1. Register or log in as an Employer
  2. Complete your company profile
  3. Go to Dashboard → Post a Job
  4. Fill in job details
  5. Submit and publish

Yes. Employers may need to purchase a job posting package before publishing jobs.

Job Packages allow employers to:

  • Post multiple jobs
  • Feature listings
  • Access candidate resumes

Packages vary by price and number of job credits.

  4. View all applicants and their CVs

Yes. You can download resumes directly from the applicant list.

Use the built-in Messaging System to contact candidates directly from your dashboard.

Yes. You can edit your job listing from Dashboard → Manage Jobs.

Job duration depends on your package. Most jobs stay live for 30 days unless renewed.

Yes. Featured jobs appear at the top of listings and receive more visibility.

Resume Search allows employers to browse candidate profiles and contact suitable talent directly.

ACCOUNT & SECURITY

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Change Password.

Contact support through the Contact Us page to request account deletion.

Yes. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal and professional information.
